Although the thought of buying a tailgate machine may seem absurd to some (I don't know who either), it can seem like a worthwhile expense in the quest for the world's greatest tailgate. However, shopping for a vehicle that will strictly be used to stuff as many of your friends (and attach a couch to the top) is a bit different from buying your standard Honda Civic. We have to tip our hat off to this guy. He decks out a 16-foot trailer with a larger than life BBQ grill and sound system.
It's official! We have now seen it all. This one-of-a-kind mega geek project is decorated with 120 RGB LED, and powered by five microcontrollers. The lights pulse and change color dependent on how the cups are setup on the table. Future plans include an automated scoreboard to complete the project.

Tailgatelot.com has now become fans of "Rhett and Link," who have beautifully written and performed "The Cornhole Song." All we have to say about it is "an olympic sport in 2024!"

We took it out for a test drive, and found it to do exactly what it said it would do, which was send us right back to where we started. It acquired the satellites rather quickly, and kept us on track no matter how far we took it. The hand held unit has great battery life that is conserved with its auto-turn off feature which shuts the device down after 10 minutes of idling.
It did have one slight drawback. You do have to keep it on a pretty horizontal plane to get the most accurate directions. So if you don't mind looking like Lewis & Clark on the way back to your vehicle, then it's a great piece to add to your tailgate arsenal.
Looks like ESPN fell victim to another slow news day, and decided to bring out a story that was probably meant to be ran shortly after they removed their nose out of the Florida voting debacle. What are they going to report on next? Hip Hop's influence on the NBA.
The enthusiastic bunch united to create what they call ”The ultimate tailgating experience,” also known as The CaneTrain. The CaneTrain is an idea that came about when a few of its members sat back over some pitchers while tailgating before a UM basketball game at the Bank United Center, Miami's on-campus basketball arena.
