Turn Fruits Into Shot Glasses with ShotCarver

Lush Life Shot CarverWith Jimmy Buffett’s “Summerzcool Tour” getting ready to kick off its summer leg in Arizona in a couple of weeks, we had to bring out a gadget geared to all those ParrotHeads out there.

Introducing LushLife’s ShotCarver.

The ShotCarver turns almost any fruit into a tasty tropical shot glass. Simply insert the ShotCarver into a fruit such as an apple, twist, and voila, an instant shot glass size hole. Then fill with an adult beverage, and bottoms up.

Making a Vodka Watermelon:

The ShotCarver is also great for carving holes into Vodka Watermelons. To create a Vodka Watermelon, open a hole in the watermelon using the ShotCarver. Insert the bottle of vodka into the hole, we recommend using a 375ml bottle. Let the vodka bottle sit overnight to let the vodka absorb into the fruit. This can sometimes take up to two days depending on the size of your vodka bottle and your watermelon. Then, simply cut the watermelon and serve.

Duracell Powerpack Powers the Tailgate Party

Duracell Powerpack Tailgate Generator

The Duracell® Powerpack 600 provides a great source of power without breaking the bank or stealing tailgating storage. The system is a stand-alone source of portable power for AC and DC-powered electronics such as televisions, satellite systems, portable coolers, video game systems, fans, and other small appliances. It features a rugged design that boasts 600 watts of heavy duty AC power helping you operate various electronics during your tailgate. In addition, the Powerpack 600 holds enough juice to jump-start a car, and includes jumper cables to connect to your car battery. With its reverse-polarity protection, you can't damage your battery by hooking the cables up wrong. The Duracell® Powerpack 600 is not meant to replace a generator, but it does act great as a complement to one.

An Oversized Koozie for Kegs?

Keg Koozie / Keg InsulatorSummertime is almost here, and that means outdoor grillin’ and drinkin.’ However, when you involve a keg into your plans, it does add extra challenges. First off, you have to equip yourself with loads of ice to keep feeding your thirsty little tin friend. Also, if you have the keg sitting on dirt, it can equate to a muddy mess. The entire situation can be avoided with the new Keg Insulator Sock from Keg Works.

Simply grab a custom ice blanket from the freezer and slide it into the keg jacket (which is wrapped around your keg) to keep your keg good and cold. The keg jacket is made of heavy-duty neoprene to maintain the temperature for up to 24 hours and prevent condensation build up. Lightweight and collapsible, you can lay the jacket flat or roll it for storage.

The jacket is made up of heavy-duty ¼” thick insulated neoprene, and comes with one ice blanket. Fits standard 15.5 gallon U.S. Half Keg.

Do Some Tailgating On Your iPhone

Tailgate Games on iPhoneWe may have found an item that can help relieve some of the tailgate withdrawal going around. A new application for the iPhone and iPod, entitled "Tailgate Games" recently made its debut on iTunes. The game comes complete with 4 different tailgate games to play, which include Cornhole, Horse Shoes, Ladder Golf, and Washers. There is even a tournament mode that lets you unlock opponents as you advance through the bracket. Another cool feature is its stats system that keeps track of how many holes you've hit in Cornhole and other such numbers. Each game follows its official rules and regulations as stated by its governing authority.

We figure that if we can't go to the tailgate, why not bring the tailgate to us.

Steelers Tailgate Inventor

First off, I'm only about 90% sure these guys weren't speaking English. Second, they may be on to something that can be bigger than all of us. A backpack keg! The only issue would be trying to convince the search down guys to let you into the stadium.

Failed Tailgate Inventions: Tailgate Partymate

Don't get us wrong. It's not that we don't like this product; it looks like a great way to gain some table real estate. We just have one question: Can it really be all that legal to drive down the street with a 4' x 3' piece of metal covering your license plate? If that issue gets fixed, we are all for this product!

How Tailgaters Roll: Barbecue Tailgate Tote

Barbecue Tailgate Tote

So the word "tote" normally shouldn't be incorporated into anything related to tailgating, but here is about the only exception. The Portable Grill Gourmet Tote features a waterproof cooler compartment, and comes equipped with high quality barbecue utensils, even some barbecue sauce to get things going in the right direction. The grill, gas tanks, and everything else pictured fits snugly into the tote for easy transport. Just add beer and ice!

Boating Tailgate Party Must Have

The Big BobberWith the Spring and Summer coming up, it's never too early to start thinking about tailgating out on the water. The Big Bobber Floating Cooler holds up to 12 cans with ice, and is sure to get any water activity revved up. The top of the cooler sports an eyelet just like any other fishing bobber, so your cooler will never drift away. It's great for the pool, lake, or beach, pretty much anywhere there's water. The floating cooler is fully insulated to keep all beverages cool on even the hottest of days, and best of all, it's made in the USA.
